Answer this question:
Why is it that the people who scream the loudest for for "no guns allowed on school grounds" are the very first ones to summon a bunch of men with guns to come to the school and save them, the very instant that someone decides to start shooting up their school full of unarmed victims?
If guns are bad, then why do the police carry them? During a crisis, do the police bring guns to the school so that they can join in on the murderous rampage, or do they do so knowing that their guns are the very tools needed to save lives?
Reality Check:
Why is it that no one cares if the police bring guns onto school grounds? Is it because the police receive training on how to use guns? Is it because they swore an oath to uphold and obey the law? Does the general public really believe that a police officer would ever get pissed off, exercise poor judgment or accidentally shoot someone? Has anyone ever stopped to wonder why there are special sections in many of the prisons across the United States that are reserved for law enforcement officers?
During my life time, I have sworn to support and defend the constitution of the United States, I have received military and civilian law enforcement training and I have taken a sworn oath, something like or exactly like that of the police in my community, so can I take guns onto school grounds? Why do we speak of colleges and universities full of grown adults as though they were the same thing as elementary (and other) schools that are full of children?
Do the lawmakers around the country really believe that no one outside of the police have the willingness and ability to to protect and defend human life? How many times have I seen or heard of normal, everyday citizens coming to the assistance of a police officer or fellow human being who's life is in jeopardy? Why do lawmakers go to so much trouble to try and prevent me from being in a position to defend human life; be it my own or someone else's?
Here's A Brilliant F***ing Idea:
Why don't we get the guns used to save lives a little closer to the students that we are interested in protecting? Why don't the lawmakers just make a decision as to who is going to is going pack heat and defend students? Is it really that difficult of a decision to decide between armed private security, additional campus police, well trained armed faculty or even allowing well trained students an opportunity to defend themselves with their own firearms?
Why don't you write your elected representatives on a regular basis and tell them to quit infringing upon your right to keep and bear arms for self defense? After that, will you also consider telling the idiots at the Brady campaign and the Million Mom March organizations to pull their collective heads out of their asses and quit endangering human life by their unproductive efforts?
